The Way Documentary is the story of countless believers around the world who’ve traded Easter ham for Passover lamb and Sunday church for Saturday Sabbath – all in an effort to live like their Savior. They’re holding every church tradition up against scripture and cutting away anything that doesn’t conform.
In the process, they encounter resistance from a religious system two millennia in the making, and for the first time, learn what it’s like to be a “peculiar people.”
Criticisms on “The Way” documentary before you watch it.
Before you read my notes, it’s important for me to say that I believe these are errors, unless I am proven otherwise. In the past I use to think that people were wrong about some of these things, but I did research for myself and was proven wrong. If things are hard to accept and we don’t even research what we are told, then we can’t arrive at the truth. Also as you will hear about in the Documentary, those who follow “The Way”, Hebrew Roots, or Messianic Torah Observant Followers of Yeshuah HaMashiach, or The Bible Movement… (all the same thing) have a wide spectrum, meaning that there are different people using these labels with different beliefs or understandings. Once people learn a fundamental truth that causes them to pursue “the way” a lot of learning, time, and research may be required. Just like the main stream Church or a Synagogue or even a Doctor of Medicine, you need to research everything you hear, see, or read for yourself. Test everything against the word of YHWH in the Bible and historical facts. Each time you learn something new you may be challenged by it, and it can either be a stumbling block or a building block, a step up the ladder, bringing you closer to YHWH if you accept, research, prove, and follow what is true. However if a truth becomes a barrier or a stumbling block, then even the truth you have may be taken from you! Matthew 13:12, 25:29, Mark 4:25… Peer pressure from Family and Friends, fear, loss of finances, and other threats and fears can cause people to step out of “The Way”.
Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
Luke 18:29-30 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

As for the main documentary: I think that there is one error and possibly one omission.
1. As for the missile toe, it’s connection to Christmas is because it is a parasite that grows on trees. It’s fruit are like human semen inside, and people had orgies under it, rather than just kissing. That is how it was originally used. The University expert in the video says that she does not know the connection to Christmas. Instead she talks about a story involving Loki making a dart out of it to kill a deity.
From watching multiple videos and documentaries and doing research, I have learned that some pastors and ordinary people, sometimes know things that the “experts” don’t. I’m not sure if they mentioned this in only in the extended edition.
2. A woman (incorrectly) teaches that the resurrection happened on the Sabbath rather than on the first day of the week, and that this is (not) necessary in order for Yeshuah to be dead for 3 days and 3 nights.
Although Passover changes it’s day of the week from year to year, I believe the gospels say that Yeshuah rose on the 1st day of the week.
The gospel goes: Yeshuah had the last supper on the night before Passover, because it says that the Religious leaders had Yeshuah crucified and buried before Passover began on Thursday night. Not arrested or betrayed on Passover Matthew 26:4-5 And consulted that they might take Yeshua by subtilty, and kill him.
But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people. (Passover is a feast day)
Yeshuah desired to eat the Passover with them before He suffered, but he could not eat the Passover with them, because he died before the Passover started. Luke 22:15-17 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer:
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of YHWH.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
Mistranslations say that the last supper happened on or after the Passover, by saying that it was the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, that follows after the Passover. The translators may not understand that. i don’t like to use the terms sun-sat to identify days, because these terms refer to pagan deities. i would rather stick to the biblical way of identifying the days of the week, 1st day, 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th day, 5th day, 6th day, 7th day.
5th Day of the week,
Buried before sundown before the end of the 5th day. Passover began at sundown,
night after the 6th day,
night after the 7th day,
Resurrection on the 1st Day of the week. Mark 16:9 Now when Yeshua was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
People have debated on the last supper being on Passover, however the last supper was on the night before Passover, or it would not make sense. They crucified Him and buried Yeshuah before Passover started because they feared the people. (Matthew 26:4-5) Also one gospel account says that Yeshuah would have liked to celebrate the Passover. Another gospel in English does say that the last supper was on or after Passover, however it seems to be misunderstood or mistranslated. Even if that were true, the 3 days and 3 nights would just push Passover back to Wednesday (when Greg Bye celebrated it). I think that it would be smart to edit these parts out of the digital formats regarding the resurrection day before showing it to other people. Perhaps they can make a revision. These notes can be shared with the viewers of “the way”.
Note: I’m not sure if using the numbers to identify the names of the week in this explanation would be more confusing due to sunup and sundown changing when each day started and ended, so I stuck to the pagan names of the days of the week to avoid confusion, conflicts, and misunderstandings.

Hebrew Gospels? The Hebrew Gospels form the Catholic Vatican are not original manuscripts, but are translated from cataladin Catalonia. Many people have been deceived by these Hebrew gospels into thinking they are original.
Michael Rood is said to be an expert on many things. He is credited with revising the King James Bible, restoring verses that were previously removed. You will see that he has 5 gospels. The 5th gospel may be the book of Acts. Some consider Acts to be a gospel.
Other than that, I didn’t notice anything very wrong with what he said. His understanding of the Nikolations not fleecing the flock sounds good to me, however now days I believe he charges people a subscription to listen to him online. A contradiction of this 2016 interview.
Zachery Bower: He is a professional homesteader. He teaches people to homestead. In The Way Documentary he warns that people who learn the truth get addicted to learning truth, and then keep searching and learn untruths. This is a good reminder not to follow the dead sea scrolls, because they have added and changed the instructions in the bible, exchanged the biblical lunar calendar for the solar calendar, refused to obey the instructions in the bible about sacrifices because they were vegans, and they taught against defending themselves, and that is why they aren’t here today.
There is a Black Beardless United Methodist Pastor. It’s clear that he isn’t completely obeying Torah. His testimony is very good though. He also has a misunderstanding of the New Covenant, and thinks that he has to reject anything that appears that it doesn’t agree with the Old Covenants. In 2016 he had not learned that all the writings in the old covenants and the new covenant agree. I also use to have a similar problem. It’s important to remember that Acts says that Paul denied teaching people to violate Torah & that false witnesses said that Stephen and Yeshuah HaMashiach taught against the law of Moshay, as well as 2 Peter 3. With that solid foundation, we can be sure that the entire Bible teaches obedience to the law and the prophets.
In the extended version you will hear one Pastor who was in the Lutheran Missouri Synod. He has very good information. He also has a very good answer to the question about where your relatives went if they didn’t keep Torah. The truth is that only Yeshuah can Judge, and we are Judged based on what we know. In the past gentiles inherited lies Jeremiah 16:19 & Acts 17:30 “And the times of this ignorance YHWH winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” and none of us knew better, but in this new time since Israel was declared a nation, many have come to the truth, and the scales have come off their eyes! Those who know are now without excuse.
He also talks about how there are many TRAPS when you learn about “The Way”. These traps include any man made doctrine and man made commandments. His example involves man made Israeli traditions. Rabbinic teachings, Denominational teachings, and anything other than the Bible is a trap and a sickness to us.

The gentiles crossed over from death to life by repenting from sin and entering into the covenant of YHWH. Israel’s job was to show them the way as a light to the nations.
Just as Abraham married his niece Sarah to make a great name for his dead relative, Israel is supposed to put the gentiles first by grafting them into their own family as Sarah and Ruth were grafted in.
The tower & temple builders in Babylon wanted to make their own names great.
Israel is to make others great, not themselves.

Salvation in Yeshuah existed before the resurrection, but salvation wasn’t fulfilled until after the resurrection.
As Greg Bye would say, the debt that paid for salvation was put on a debt card, until Yeshuah paid the card off. To get your sin debt put on the debt card, you had to have salvation by faith like Abraham or participate in animal sacrifice for sins, but only Yeshuah could pay the debt. It was piled up before He paid it.
Yeshuah is the law, the way, the truth, & the life. They are one & the same. He didn’t do away with Himself. He just paid for the debt.
Everyone can be grafted in and adopted as children of YHWH in His covenants.

Q. So why has YHWH allowed us to participate in pagan rituals, festivals, and use images forbidden by the Bible?
A. This is my theory and it requires a study of the prophets, however from what I have read it seems that YHWH let Belshazzar and others ‘outside the covenant of YHWH’ to worship pagan deities, as long as they didn’t mock YHWH, hurt the Israelites, or do evil to people. Even though YHWH made Himself known in the book of Daniel, those outside the covenant still worshipped other deities. The Bible says that coming into the covenant of YHWH requires us to learn and obey every word that proceeds from the mouth of YHWH, that is to become a naturalized Israelite grafted into the covenant.
